CASEY residents are encouraged to “go local” this Australia Day.
Local events are happening across the city, with things on offer for all ages.
Casey mayor Colin Butler said Australia Day was a great opportunity to gather with friends and family and bring the community together.
“Australia Day is an important reminder for us all to reflect on what we have achieved, to be proud of our great nation, and to keep striving to make Australia better,” Cr Butler said.
“Our country, like the municipality of Casey, is one of diversity and unity, of incredible landscapes and extraordinary people. We value our freedom, our democracy and that wonderful notion of a fair go for all.”
