STUDENTS at Dandenong High School’s Doveton campus are now learning with some of the latest computer technologies.
A computer room at the school was fitted with 13 new computers, an updated server and other equipment as part of a $13,500 grant from the Federal Government.
Senator Mitch Fifield officially opened the computer facility last Tuesday week and spoke to the senior students about the developments in information technology.
The funds also allowed for a multimedia station to be set up in the school’s art-photograph faculty.
The grant was part of the nationwide Investing in Our Schools Program.
Dandenong High School principal Martin Culkin also took the opportunity to address the students for the first time since the official merger of Dandenong, Doveton and Cleeland secondary colleges.
