Ageing, in a good way

TO CELEBRATE Victorian Seniors Week, the City of Casey is holding the Ageing Positively Festival from Sunday 5 October to Sunday 19 October.
Local groups and organisations are working in partnership with the council to deliver a variety of events for the older community including musical entertainment, information sessions, health and well-being sessions and arts and crafts programs.
The main event, Active through the Arts, will be held on Tuesday 7 October at Arthur Wren Hall in Hampton Park and is free to Casey residents.
The event will feature a range of activities including Bollywood dancing, digital photography classes and woodworking. Guest speaker at the event will be Noeline Brown, the Australian Ambassador for Ageing.
The Golden Tappers will perform. For bookings please call council’s community information officer on 9705 5200 by Friday 26 September.
