BUDDING business entrepreneurs from a Clyde North school will jet set to New Zealand for a business management trip this month.
Year 11 students from Hillcrest Christian College will spend 13 days travelling around New Zealand, learning about different techniques and aspects of the business industry.
Business management teacher Rob Wilson said the nine students participating in the trip would get the opportunity to meet with world class business leaders.
“The trip will give the students experience in the industry,” he said.
The students have raised more than $900 to go towards their overseas trip by holding several sausage sizzles at the school.
Year 11 student Bryan said he was looking forward to meeting Auckland’s North Shore City mayor Andrew Williams.
The principal, Daniel Pampuch, said this was the first time students from the school had travelled overseas for a school initiated trip.
He said the school recognised that some of the best learning opportunities were outside its doors and even Australia.
“This is dynamic and exciting for the students to learn about innovative ideas,” Mr Pampuch said.
