A CASEY-based band is getting ready to jet set to Sydney for their first interstate tour.
Silver Reasons, made up of band members Adrian Szostek, Jessica Jade Bruce, Chris Burke, Carlos Peregin and Darren Keane, are hard at work rehearsing for two upcoming performances in Sydney.
The pop rock band will perform at the Live House in Lewisham on Thursday 25 September as well as the Arts Warehouse in Gosford on Sunday 28 September. Supporting bands such as Falling of One, 3 Stripe Ave, Bad Obsession, No Pressure and special guests Ella Roberts and Ben McKenzie from Australian Idol will also perform.
Lead guitarist Carlos Peregin said the band was excited to be travelling interstate.
Silver Reasons, the winners of the 2007 Battle of the Bands contest, have been playing together for a year. Peregin, 16, said he drew his musical inspiration from rocker Led Zeppelin.
“Our goal as a band is to become a big hit and perform together for as long as we can,” he said. Listen to Silver Reasons at myspace.com/silverreasons.
