Safety message plated

CASEY residents can join the debate on new number plates for Victoria.
On Sunday, Premier Ted Baillieu announced that new Victorian number plates would carry a road safety message that would be selected after extensive consultation.
South Eastern Metropolitan Region MP and Minister responsible for TAC Gordon Rich-Phillips urged residents to pitch ideas for road safety messages that would help reduce the road toll.
“It is very important that our community continue to talk about the various messages related to improving road safety, and I hope to see some great new ideas submitted by local residents in Casey in response to this number plate initiative,” Mr Rich-Phillips said.
Residents can submit their ideas at www.premier.vic.gov.au
The new number plates are expected to roll out in Victoria next ar.
