Robbery spree –

FOURTEEN youths from Endeavour Hills and various suburbs near Melbourne were arrested on Friday night in relation to seven separate robberies around the city’s CBD.
Police made the arrests in relation to a crime spree that started at 9.30pm in Melbourne East and ended about 12.50am on the bike path 100 metres south of Batman Avenue.
All of the youths arrested were male and were interviewed by police in relation to robbery and have been released pending summons.
Police said all of those arrested were alleged to be of African appearance and are aged between 14 and 18 years of age.
Those arrested were from Endeavour Hills, Keilor Downs, St Albans, Sunshine, Kensington, Melton, and North Melbourne.
