WHO would have thought that odd socks could ever be put to use – well this October they can.
On Sunday 6 October, these socks helped to stamp out mental health stigmas and discrimination.
Cardinia Shire and City of Casey residents put their best foot forward last Sunday when the official odd socks event swept through Berwick.
The Berwick mental health support group held a community barbecue and picnic at Wilson Botanic Park Garden last Sunday to play their part in stamping out these stigmas.
The Berwick group meet at the Berwick neighbourhood Centre at 112 High Street every Wednesday at 10am.
