THIS year’s Carols by Twilight event promises to be one of the most spectacular.
The 2013 carols, held at Max Pawsey Reserve in Narre Warren on Christmas Eve, will feature Chris Sebastian from The Voice AU, as well as illusionist Christopher Wayne, who has an exciting performance in store for gathered carollers.
Chris, the younger brother of Guy Sebastian, found his own fame when he impressed judges with his soulful singing on the reality television series The Voice in 2012.
Carols by Twilight, a free family event, is organised by Casey City Church and supported by Westfield Fountain Gate, City of Casey, Hillcrest Christian College, Jayco, Bendigo Bank, ProLive Sound and City Edge Centre.
The annual event, which has been running for more than 20 years, will be capped off with an exemplary fireworks display.
A large crowd is expected to attend, with close to 8000 people getting involved last year.
The carol pre-event starts at 6.30pm on 24 December and the main event kicks off at 8pm.
