MUSIC is going through a new evolution in the area thanks to Luke Hatch and his new store and music academy.
Luke is managing director of the new Evolution Music which opened on the first floor of Unit 10, 2-8 Northey Road, Lynbrook, three months ago.
Evolution aims to stock a wide-range of instruments to suit all levels of musicianship.
It is a musical instrument retailer which also provides instrument hire and servicing.
The music academy offers lessons in guitar, bass, piano, drums, vocal, saxophone and other wind instruments.
“Customers say to us that the ambience of our store makes them want to spend time viewing and playing our unique range of instruments,” Luke said.
“Our displays of exclusive brands gives the customer a good choice and our prices and after-sales service is what today’s consumer is looking for in a retailer.
“We always strive to give our customers the best price possible.
“Our keyboard and acoustic guitar sale on 31 May will be our first sale since opening and we will have great deals.”
Luke said Evolution stocks a very wide range of instruments including electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitars and amps, drums, keyboards and digital pianos.
Evolution also has a range of PA equipment, effects and print music.
Its exclusive range of brass and wind instruments has also just arrived.
“We are focussed on providing this rapidly growing region with a great range of products and to develop, thorugh our teaching academy, the future musicians of the area,” he said.
“Our exclusive brands are world-class and well worth looking at before you make the final decision on your next instrument.”
And while Evolution Music has only been operating for the past three months, Luke himself is no stranger to the world of music and musical instruments.
Starting in 1996 with Allan’s Music, he also worked with Concerts Music before taking the position of musical products manager with APMC.
He also worked part-time at Whitehorse Music until opening his new shop.
“Our other guitar specialist, Denis Sudzuka, who also teaches in our academy, and Candice, our piano, keyboard and print specialist, complete our team,” Luke said.
Music is Luke’s passion and he said, as such, Evolution will be sponsoring more local events as it establishes itself.
Its first foray, though, will be the Hard Rock Show on Channel 31 shortly.
