A MAN who tried to flee police after he was served a warrant at a Berwick property was chased down and arrested on Wednesday.
The man who fled, and a second man, both aged in their twenties, were remanded in custody for breach of parole and bail offences.
Its understood police arrived at the Innes Court residence just after 3.30pm to execute the warrant where one male surrendered himself after roughly 20 minutes, while the other refused to negotiate and attempted to escape through a top window.
He was soon arrested by members of the Special Operations Group.
Police retrieved two allegedly stolen vehicles and stolen property during the raid.
Both men are in custody and to be interviewed.
