Get a taste for senior service

THOSE who are looking to get out and not break the bank should get down to the Fountain Gate Hotel.
The hotel holds a special seniors’ day on the final Friday of every month as one of the many services it provides, says venue manager Sandy Chambers.
She has spent 18 years in the hospitality industry and has been managing this venue since September.
She said the hotel offers a stylish bistro along with a lounge bar and TAB and Keno facilities as well as catering for functions from 21st birthday parties to engagements, weddings and all sorts of corporate events in either cocktail or sit-down style.
“Our focus is on providing great food, great drink specials and excellent service,” Sandy said.
“Monday is $17 seafood, Tuesday kids eat free, Wednesday is the $17 curry night, Thursday is Parmalicious and Burger night.”
The seniors day costs $15 and features a buffet lunch.
But that isn’t the only treat that’s available for seniors.
There’s also a meal deal on Tuesdays which provides two courses for $8.50 or three courses for $10.
And, of course, there is live entertainment on Friday afternoons thanks to the Friday After Work Sessions.
The Fountain Gate Hotel is in Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, Overland Drive, Narre Warren, and is open 8am to 4am daily.
