POLICE were called to a Hampton Park property last week after a man forced his way in and demanded money from the occupant before smashing the front windows of the house.
It’s understood the man, who was known to the victim, became angry and refused to leave the Cairns Road home after the occupant refused his demands for money about 7pm on Thursday 14 May.
The offender became even more irate when a Critical Incident Response Team arrived at the house and he smashed the front windows of the property as police attempted to detain him.
The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested and later assessed at Frankston Hospital.
