Young and old honour fallen

Side by side, veterans and Fountain Gate Secondary College students paid their respects to Australia’s fallen servicepeople at an Anzac Day ceremony at the school on 24 April.
The full ceremony, including the laying of wreaths, a school concert band and bearing of flags from 13 nations, schools, groups and municipalities, was attended by pipers Ian Arrell and Alistair Wright and bugler Andrew Bryce.
Also observing the service was Vic Dey, Tom Parkinson, Allan and Nicole Evenden of Korean Veterans Association of Australia, and Commander Matthew Ferguson of HMAS Cerberus.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan, Casey councillors Wayne Smith and Rosalie Crestani and members of Victoria Police also attended.
