The raw energy of Ballet Revolucion.

Ballet Revolución is set to land with its passionate, sensual and daring moves at Bunjil Place this month.

As part of a national tour, the Cuban-based group is said to put on a joyous exhibition of ballet and street dance with Afro-Cuban traditions to a range of Latin American music.

The dancers, trained at Cuba’s prestigious Escuela Nacional de Arte and at Escuela Nacional de Ballet, have toured Europe with the show.

According to promoters, dance means “life” on the island nation.

Australian choreographer Aaron Cash has teamed with Cuban counterpart Roclan Gonzalez Chavez to blend modern salsa and Cuban dance for the show.

Ballet Revolucion is at Bunjil Place, Narre Warren on Tuesday, 15 May. Bookings: 9709 9700.
