Petrol theft

Narre Warren Police are investigating the theft of petrol that occurred on Sunday, 2 September.

At approximately 1:30am a vehicle (possibly an early 2000’s Mitsubishi Pajero) with a distinctive light bar, roof racks and bearing false number plates, has attended at the service station on Clyde Road, Berwick.

The driver, a man of Caucasian appearance aged in his 20’s has filled up with fuel and then gotten back in the vehicle without making an attempt to pay.

Police have released a CCTV still image of a man and vehicle that they believe may be able to assist with the investigation. If you recognise the male or vehicle please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.crimestoppersvic.com.au and quote incident number 18029742.
