Vikki Fitzgerald is the nominated Liberal candidate for Narre Warren North.

Ms Fitzgerald’s motivation is delivering locally, as she has lived locally for the last 18 years.

“When people here tell me about how long their daily commute is, or share their concerns about rising crime in the neighbourhood, I understand because I see it every day as well,” she said.

“People around here are telling me that their daily commute is a nightmare, that they’re getting squeezed by cost of living and that they worry that crime is out of control.”

Ms Fitzgerald said she hears concerns about crime a lot.

“Jail will mean jail, we’ll get violent thugs off our streets and roll out CCTV at Spring Square in Hallam and Webb Street/Narre Warren Station,” Ms Fitzgerald said.

Ms Fitzgerald focuses largely on education.

“As part of a Liberal Government I’ll deliver two school buses and a STEM Centre fit out to Fountain Gate Secondary College, and we will build a much needed VCE Centre for Gleneagles Secondary, Timbarra P-9 will receive a STEM Centre, and St Paul the Apostle South Primary will receive much needed building upgrades,” she said.

“A Liberal Government will make textbooks free for secondary school students, an instant saving for many families.”

If elected, Ms Fitzgerald promises O’Shea Road to be duplicated, the intersection at Heatherton and Hallam Road upgraded, and both East West Link and North East Link built.

Ms Fitzgerald said that if she is elected, her first point of business will be to hit the ground running and deliver the relief they have promised for the community.
