Find you voice with a $10K grant

Community groups wishing to start up their own choir with the help of a $10,000 grant have less than a month to apply.

To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, Creativity Australia is offering grants of up to $10,000 to people or groups who are wanting to start their own ‘With One Voice’ choir.

Applications for round 13 will be accepted and considered up until 5pm, Tuesday 31 March.

Creativity Australia will be reviewing applications from now, “so the earlier you apply the more chance you have of being an awardee”.

People are encouraged to apply if they have a passion for bringing people of all walks of life together, for nurturing community spirit and connection, for singing and for changing the world one voice at a time.

Kate from Arrabri Community House in Bayswater North, a recent grant awardee said, “Receiving a ‘With One Voice’ grant has given Arrabri Community House an amazing opportunity to engage with such a diverse range of people in our community. Our numbers continue to grow and we get to meet the most amazing people. Introducing a choir has been a breath of fresh air for our community house, being able to engage with community members that may not have otherwise used our organisation.”
