A MAN has been bashed outside the Narre Warren public library in the middle of the day.
The victim was talking on his phone outside the library, about 2.30pm on Saturday 1 August, near Fountain Gate Shopping Centre on Overland Drive, when he was approached by two men, one who hit him in the side of the head.
The offenders then tried to steal the victim’s phone but soon fled without it.
The first offender is described as aged between 19 and 20, 165cm to 167cm tall, skinny, appeared European, and was wearing black jeans, a black hoody, black Nike runners and a black hat at the time.
The second offender was described as about 17 years old, was taller than the first offender, had a medium build and a brown patchy beard, appeared European as well, and was also wearing black jeans, a black hoody and a black hat at the time.
