AFTER being personally touched through their members at Ultimate Fitness Training (UFT) Playgrounds, the CrossFit club has chosen to fund-raise for depression awareness charity, Kane’s Crusade, once more.
Having supported the local not-for-profit organisation all year, the new Narre Warren CrossFit club is holding another exercise fund-raiser.
Co-owner Joel Perryman said the club was hoping to raise at least $5000 for Kane’s Crusade.
“We’ve had quite a few instances where members of ours have come to us with personal issues,” Mr Perryman said, making Kane’s Crusade a cause close to their heart.
The CrossFit workout will run for an hour on Saturday 26 September at the new club premises at 1/7 Len Thomas Place, Narre Warren.
A minimum of $100 needs to be raised to be eligible to participate in the event which coincides with the UFT CrossFit Fountain Gate grand opening.
