Goosey down to business

The ink was yet to dry on new Cranbourne coach Simon Goosey’s contract, but there he was taking training on Tuesday after the former Mornington champion -and coach of Frankston for the last five years- signed with the club on Monday. “We are thrilled that Simon has agreed to join us and we can now focus on looking forward to 2015,” said club president Shane Baker, while Goosey was taken in by the clubs’ hunger for success. “It’s a well-run club with a playing group that wants to improve and is really hungry for success and that is what basically got me over the line.” For more on a massive signing for both Cranbourne and the fledgling South East Football Netball League, grab a copy of this week’s Pakenham-Berwick Gazette. 132281 Picture: STEWART CHAMBERS
