Medical service across miles

LAST year volunteer nurse Melinda Robinson travelled to Tanzania to treat people at a medical centre where there was no running water and electricity was scarce. Measles and HIV were common illnesses presented to the 35-year-old from Narre Warren, who also delivered countless babies during her sojourn. This month Melinda will return to Tanzania to volunteer with the Flying Medical Service to help isolated villagers cut off from regular medical treatment.
